ULYSSES Journey for Performers

Mixtur Barcelona’s new sound creation festival, in collaboration with Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya, provides a workshop dedicated to performance aiming for high-level training. The Workshops for Performers Mixtur 2024 is mainly aimed at students and professional performers, of any age and nationality, with interest in the performance of current repertoire. Workshops for performers Mixtur 2024 students have the opportunity to work with the flute player Matteo Cesari, the piano player Alberto Rosado and the violin player Caroline Widmann.

Workshop for Performers is closely linked to Composition and Sound Experimentation Workshop and to the festival concert programme. The Workshop for Performers students participate in a concert included in the festival's official programme, where they have the opportunity to play a piece by one of the Composition and Sound Experimentation students with whom they previously worked.

This year the workshops will host four young performers selected in the framework of their ULYSSES Journeys: Jaume Darbra Fa (Flute, Spain), Alexis Perraud (Violin, France), Juliette Dornaud (Piano, France/Switzerland), Alyona Pynzenyk (Violin, Ukraine)
