Dear musicians,
and especially dear composers,
We are thrilled to announce another one of our unique opportunities to explore the boundaries of contemporary music!
On the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the passing of Lelio Giannetto, internationally active doublebassist and organizer, Curva Minore Association, founded by him in 1997, launches the first edition of a composition competition dedicated to his instrument: the double bass. 🎻
🔑 Who Can Participate?
The competition is open to composers of any nationality, with no age limits.
📜 Competition Rules
Categories: 1. Solo double bass
2. Two or three double basses
Entry fee: €40 per composition
Prize: €1,000 for each category
Deadline: August 31, 2025

🔊 Enjoy the Concert!
The selected compositions will be performed during the 2025 edition of Solo per Lelio,
on December 19, 2025, at Sala Perriera, Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa in Palermo,
and will also be recorded live.
